When my father passed, it was very much a full-fledged “moving on” feel amongst my family. We all knew that it was coming, so it was tough to deal with but at least we were prepared. Everyone took on a job, and mine was one of cleaning out old things. He had a lot of stock from the old family business piled up in the garage and in the basement, and I think that we were just holding onto it for sentimental reasons. Now though, we realize that it’s time to get rid of it, and I’m going to look up “skip hire Manchester” to lose all of the junk. I’ll probably need some help from my siblings, but we’re definitely going to stick together throughout all of this. When my family loses somebody, it kind of lights a fire beneath us, kicking us back into gear and making us realize what life is all about.
