Teen Charged in Bus Accident

A school bus crash on Tuesday has resulted in charges for a 16-year-old. The collision happened around 8am in the Greenville County School District when the teenager cut-off a bus along Highway 296. Should I Buy Panic Away

Crash by Cache Creek Casino Injures 3

According to the local news, two adults and one child were injured after a head-on collision last Wednesday afternoon.

The official reports showed that an 18-year-old driver from Woodland loaded his trailer truck with cinder blocks but failed to secure the load properly. The California Highway Patrol release shows that he was headed east on Highway 16 when the trailer hauled by the teenager’s truck started to fishtail. The driver lost grip of his car, swerved off the road into the westbound lanes and collided against an oncoming 2006 Toyota Corolla vehicle head-on.

The Corolla’s driver and his passengers were injured, including a baby who reportedly suffered a laceration to his head and had to be airlifted to the hospital.

The 18-year-old driver who provoked the crash was uninjured while the passenger in the other car suffered major injuries including pain in her head, back, neck and a broken arm. The driver of the Corolla had an airbag abrasion and complained of pains across his body but no other severe injuries were reported.

No arrests were made after this accident and alcohol was not a factor. The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash to understand exactly how the improperly loaded material affected the vehicle’s performance.
