I hate driving downtown especially during rush hour but I had an errand that I had to run and could not afford to put it off until the weekend when the traffic would be lighter. As usual traffic was a mess, it was bumper to bumper the whole drive downtown. It took me nearly forty minutes to drive the seven miles to my destination. Once downtown I was shocked to see that there was a open parking spot right in front of the building I needed to do my business in. Without thinking I immediately grabbed the spot and ran into the building. Everything went fine inside and I was out in a jiff only to discover that my car was on the back of a towing chicago truck! I was in such a hurry that I failed to notice the sign saying that you could not park on the right side of the street on Tuesdays or Wendsdays!
